Best Film (20,000 Euros) to: HOLY ROSITA by Wannes Destoop
Special Jury Prize IWONDERFULL (7,000 Euros) to: VENA by Chiara Fleischhacker
Best Screenplay to: L’AIGUILLE/THE NEEDLE by Abdelhamid Bouchnack
Best performance 1: Flora Ofelia Hofmann Lindahl, Christine Albeck Børge, Karen-Lise Mynster in MADAME IDA

Special Jury Prize ex aequo to:
I’M NOT EVERYTHING I WANT TO BE by Klára Tasovská
THE BRINK OF DREAMS by Ayman El Amir, Nada Riyadh

SHORT FILM COMPETITION
The jury of the Short Film Competition, chaired by Michela Cescon (Italy) and composed of Darko Perić (Serbia) and Nicola Nocella (Italy), awards the prizes:

Best Film (3,000 Euros) to: WALK IN by Haneol Park, for the movie’s ability to portray an unexpected dimension with a personal and impeccable style, with highpoints of pure poetry.
Special Jury Prize to: FIRE DRILL by Maximilian Villwock
Mention to SOMEONE’S TRYING TO GET IN by Colin Nixon

 

FIPRESCI PRIZE
The jury composed of the film critics Marco Lombardi (Italy), Giuseppe Di Salvatore (Switzerland), Massimo Arciresi (Italy) award the FIPRESCI prize (International Film Critics Award) to:
VENA by Chiara Fleischhacker
With the following motivation:
“For its ability to transform the intense story of a pregnancy into a plausible pathway of salvation from addiction, thanks to a very compassionate performance, a story with strong emotional impact, and editing that expertly marks the tempo of the narration, comprehensive signs of a directorial maturity that is uncommon in a first film.”
