Sharon Stone, an absolute diva of the silver screen, and Matthew Broderick, one of the most
representative actors of his generation, will be present at the 42nd Torino Film Festival. The
two planetary stars will present two of their most famous movies to the audience and will
receive the prestigious “Stella della Mole” film award, which is given to prominent exponents
of international cinema.
Sharon Stone will catapult the TFF audience into the western atmosphere of The Quick and
the Dead by Sam Raimi, a movie she also co-produced and in which she plays a beautiful and
deadly gunslinger alongside Gene Hackman and two then-emerging actors who were destined
to leave their mark, Leonardo Di Caprio and Russell Crowe.
Matthew Broderick, who will arrive in Turin in the company of his wife, the actress Sarah
Jessica Parker, will tell the audience about his relationship as a young actor with Marlon Brando
during the shooting of The Freshman, in which he co-starred; the film will be screened as part
of the retrospective dedicated to Brando.
