The feature film competition Torino37’s Jury will be lead by a TFF’s long time friend: Cristina Comencini. Respected film director (I divertimenti della vita privata, La fine è nota, Va’ dove ti porta il cuore, Il più bel giorno della mia vita e La bestia nel cuore are some of her most know titles), she will share her assignment with French actress Fabienne Bebe, who worked with Ken Loach, the Dardenne brothers, Maurice Pialat, André Téchine, and other 3 filmmakers: Canadian Bruce McDonald, who attended most of the latest TFF editions with his peculiar movies, Israeli Eran Riklis, awarded at Berlinale 2008 for Lemon Tree, at Locarno in 2004 and 2010 for The Syrian Bride and The Human Resources Manager, who will present at 37TFF Spider in the Web, and Macedonian Teona Strugar Mitevska, that will be the protagonist of a focus on 5 of her works here at the Festival.
