Waltzing with Brando, written and directed by Bill Fishman, will be presented as a world premiere at the 42nd TFF on Saturday, November 30.
The director and the star of the movie Billy Zane, whose performance is an amazing and complete identification with the iconic movie star Marlon Brando, will attend the presentation.
One of the most awaited and requested movies on the international markets in recent months, Waltzing with Brando is an ideal epilogue for the Torino Film Festival, which has dedicated a major retrospective to Marlon Brando to celebrate the one hundredth anniversary of his birth.
The movie, which primarily takes place between 1969 and 1974, as Brando was preparing for his memorable performances in The Godfather and Last Tango in Paris, is based on the same-titled book of memoirs by Bernard Judge and, besides Zane, stars Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite, Blades of Glory), with the participation of Oscar-winning actor Richard Dreyfuss.
